By using this site, by calling a business phone line that DuoTec operates, or by engaging us for work, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or the services.

DuoTec operates a missed-call text-back service for businesses that hire us. Here is exactly what it does:

• You place a phone call to a business line that DuoTec manages.
• The business does not answer that call.
• Our system automatically sends one text message to the phone number that placed the call, letting you know we saw the call and inviting you to reply with what you need.
• If you reply, your message goes to the business, and a person responds during business hours.

The message comes from the business you called or from DuoTec on its behalf. It is a customer care message, not a marketing blast: it exists so a missed call does not turn into a lost customer.

This service is not monitored around the clock and is not an emergency service. Never use it to report an emergency. Call 911 or the appropriate emergency number instead.

Consent is given when a caller places a call to a DuoTec-managed business line. By calling that line, you consent to receive an automated text message back at the phone number you called from, in response to that call.

Consent is not a condition of any purchase. You can withdraw it at any time by replying STOP, as described below. Withdrawing consent stops the text messages and does not stop you from calling the business or being helped by phone.

Message frequency varies and depends on how often you call. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Reply with any of these keywords to any message you receive from us. Keywords are not case sensitive.

STOP

Opts you out. We send one confirmation, then no further messages to that number. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT do the same thing.

HELP

Replies with our name and how to reach us. INFO does the same thing. Standard message and data rates apply.

START

Opts you back in if you previously replied STOP, and resumes messages for that number.

If a keyword does not work for any reason, email us and we will remove your number by hand.

Websites, software, and related work are covered by a separate written proposal or agreement that sets out scope, price, and schedule. Where that agreement and these terms conflict, that agreement controls. Nothing on this site is an offer or a guarantee of a particular result.

You agree not to:

• Use the site or messaging service unlawfully, or to harass, threaten, or defraud anyone.
• Submit false information through our forms, or submit someone else's phone number as your own.
• Attempt to break, probe, overload, or gain unauthorized access to our systems or dashboards.
• Scrape, copy, or resell the site or its contents without our written permission.

The DuoTec name, this site, and its design and code are ours unless stated otherwise. Ownership of work we build for a client transfers as set out in that client's agreement, normally on final payment.

The site and the messaging service are provided as is, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that messages will always be delivered, that the site will be uninterrupted, or that it will be free of errors.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DuoTec is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability arising out of the site or the messaging service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, for the service in question.

We may update these terms as our services change. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision, and continuing to use the site or the messaging service after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
